Only the coastal town of PortBou has been affected by the flames, that have damaged about 50 hectáreas of vegetation

The fire started yesterday at noon in the town of Jonquera and has mainly affected the interior part of the province of Girona, while on the coast just 50 hectáres has been damaged in the town of Port Bou. Following the work of extinction, tourism activity stays active in the Costa Brava, with hotels at full capacity and the main access roads fully operational land.

Hotel establishments, restaurants, leisure facilities, roads and other services involved in tourism activities function normally. The area of ​​Girona has hardly been affected by the terrible fire that flamed, in just 24 hours and led by the force of the Tramuntana, has calcined around 13.000 hectares of land in the province.
