Come and enjoy the soul of our campsite, in a unique environment that needs to be preserved, with:

– Local products from Empordà

– Leisure activities and activities raising awareness of environmental conservation

– Sampling and tastings of organic cuisine

– Charitable collaborations and raffles

– Guided tours

 

Participate: earn points and prizes!

Enter a draw for organic food baskets and collaborate with a marine biodiversity regeneration project managed by the organization Seastainable Ventures.

The more points you collect, the more we can invest in the charity and the more chances you’ll have to enjoy local sustainable products.

 

How do I take part?

– Download the La Ballena Alegre campsite app on your mobile

– Scan the QR code of each activity in which you participate

– The campsite will make a donation to Seastainable Ventures for every QR scanned

– The highest scores will go into the draw for organic food baskets

Friday, 16 June

Start of the fair.

 

4.30 pm

Opening and welcome of the 1st La Ballena Alegre Awareness Fair. Presentation of the activities and talks. Toni Castellar, Lay Gainza and Alex Trias. La Ballena Alegre, directors.

 

5 pm

Talk: “The carbon footprint and climate action plans, an environmental metric for making responsible business and personal decisions”. Dr Carlos Gasol. Unpublished, Director of Projects.

 

6 pm

Opening of the 2023 Optimist World Championship.

 

 

Saturday, 17 June

10 am

Guided tour of the Aiguamolls de l’Empordà.Meeting point: Camping La Ballena Alegre. By Orson Acosta Romero de Tejada. Azolla Projects, co-founder and CEO.

Duration of the visit: 2 hours.

Talk and video: “Study of the octopus in the Gulf of Roses and Pals with the construction of shelters”. Alive Fund, A ‘Pop de Gram’ project.

Talk: “Nutritional habits for young sailors”. Dr Victoria Pons. Doctor specializing in Sports Medicine and PhD in Human Nutrition. Head of the Physiology and Nutrition Department at the High Performance Centre in Sant Cugat del Vallès.
