New sport event : Hunting Dogs
Hello everyone !!
We hope all of you are in good health and looking forward to the summer season.
We really want to open our doors and see the well-known faces of our customers and welcome the new ones to visit us.
This year we will continue with all the cleaning protocols, distances and mask as in the previous summer but now with more knowledge of the facts and knowing that we are all going to respect the rules and capacity as much as possible.
We are working hard to E N J O Y this summer with family, friends and doing what makes us happy.
For this reason, for bicycle lovers, we have created the Hunting Dogs – Gravel Costa Brava event. A new sport event in Camping Bungalow Resort & Spa La Ballena Alegre.
Gravel is a type of cycling that is practiced starting from the base of a road bike but with some modifications in the geometry of the frame and a larger size of its tires.
Our intention is to share the essence of how we understand this type of cycling (GRAVEL), which is not only sport but also companionship, adventure, freedom and good vibes.
The natural habitat of gravel bikes are tracks, forest roads and highways away from traffic. It is also characterized by its agile pace on low-technical trails and roads.
In this way, we have created an event where you will enjoy with your friends a series of wonderful tours and spectacular landscapes, all combining refreshment stops and culinary tastings.

FIRST WINDFOIL COACHING
ION CLUB Golf de Roses is very excited to host the rst Windfoil Coaching Event, supported by World Cup competitor William Huppert from France (FRA 330 – Lokefoil, Fanatic, North Sails), one of the most experienced windsurf foil riders in Europe.
Ronan Kersaudy, director at ION CLUB Golf de Roses, has been passionate about Windfoiling since the early start of the discipline 5 years ago. Recently he started teaching this sport to his students in his windsur ng school in Costa Brava, Spain.
WINDFOILING
This summer saw an increasing demand in lessons. With most windsur ng brands such as Fanatic now producing speci c Windfoil boards and foil ns, and Windfoiling becoming a PWA World Cup Events discipline from next year onwards, Windfoiling is clearly con- quering its place amongst the water sports.
The time to learn is now!
Our windsur ng spot in Golf de Roses is ideal for learning to Windfoil. We have a very constant thermal wind providing the right amount of wind to take off. Additionally we have the new Fanatic Gecko Foil Edition Boards in the sizes 120 and 133 litres. On top of that we use Lokefoil ns and we will soon add brand-new Fanatic Foils to our boards.

// 7 nights in a bungalow at the Camping and Bungalow Park La Ballena Alegre including full board at Bar-Restaurant Oasis, next door to ION CLUB. Full board includes a breakfast buffet, lunch and a dinner menu including drinks. One dinner will take place in a local restaurant in town.
//6 days of Windfoil coaching on the 2018 Gecko Foil Edition 120 and 133 liters (2-3 hours per day in a group), and windsurf and stand up paddle rental of our Fanatic and North Sails 2017 boards.
During the rst three days the ION CLUB Instructors will introduce you to Windfoiling, followed by three days of advanced coaching by William Huppert. To help you progress faster we include video teaching and the usage of radio – BB Talkin helmets.

This option is ideal if you are travelling alone and want to share a bungalow, keeping your privacy in a single room (either a room with bunk beds or two single beds). Kitchen area and bathroom are to be shared. Distance to the beach and ION CLUB is less than 30 meters.

There are two luxury bedrooms with a private bathroom and two additional beds in the living area. If you are a group of friends (max. three people) you can make your personal choices where to sleep, as there are 6 beds in total. Distance to the beach and ION CLUB maximum 30 meters.
// 3 // The third option might be suitable for you if you would like to rent a Mare Nostrum bungalow for private use (maximum occupancy is 6 persons) and if you are travelling with friends or family who don’t participate in the Windfoil Coaching Event. The rate is 690 € / bungalow /self-catering.
The coaching week will then cost 690 € (including the welcome drink and departure aperitif, one dinner in a local restaurant, event rash vest and entrance to the SPA Oxygen).

La Ballena Alegre Sailing Center is een ideale zeil en vaar center voor de hele gezin, echtpaar of alleen.
U had nooit eerder kunnen voorstellen hoe leuk en makkelijk zeilen kan zijn.
Met hulp van onze begeleiders heeft u al vanaf de eerste dag basiskennis om alleen te kunnen zeilen en genieten van het varen met een zeilboot.
Met de nieuwe vloot (Funboat) kunt u de hele dag in de baai van Roses varen. De Funboat is speciaal voor beginners ontworpen simpel om op te zetten en makkelijk om mee te nemen varen zonder enkele emotionele spanningen. Het is de perfecte catamaran om van en naar de strand. Zonder complicaties, makkelijk en een ongelooflijke stabiliteit heeft de (Funboat) zijn naam.
In de Sailing Center bieden wij u verschillende soorten manieren om van het zeilen te genieten en dag bij dag beter te worden:
– Groep met begeleiding, (6 uur 125€)
– 1 person met begeleiding (1 uur 61€)

Blog – Kitesurf Voorschriften
VOORSCHRIFTEN VOOR KITESURFEN BINNEN ONZE FACILITEITEN
- Kitesurf niet in de zones voor zwemmers en windsurf en zorg voor een veilige van 50 meter ten opzichte van mens, dier en materiële goederen. Breng zwemmers,surfers en andere watersporters niet in gevaar.
- Het wordt aanbevolen om op minimaal 250 meter van de kustlijn te surfen.Geen salto’s en rare dingen uithalen tussen de boeien die in het water liggen.
- Zorg er voor dat u eerst de basis principies van het kitesurfen onder de knie krijgt en neem, indien nodig, les bij gespecialiseerde kite surfschool voordat u de vlieger oplaat.
- Indien u uzelf niet goed genoeg ach om het water op te gaan brengt u uzelf en anderen in gevaar. GA NIET HET WATER OP.
- Ter bescherming in geval van een noodsituatie wordt het aanbevolen met zwemvest en helm te kiten en een fluitje en een mes bij u te dragen.
- Hou het weer goed in de gaten, ga niet met aflandige wind het water op.
- Plaats het materiaal op een correcte manier op het strand door er voldoende zand of iets anders met voldoende gewicht op te leggen. Hou rekening met strand medegebruikers.
- Ga respectvol om met beginners en nieuwe kitesurfers.
- Zorg er voor dat uw materiaal in goede staat is.
- Gebruik altijd een veiligheid voorziening systeem waarmee u los kunt komen.
- Houd een Ly-afstand van 50 meter wanneer u springt en een loef-Afstand van 30 meter.
- Surf niet verder het water op dan u zwemmen kunt, ingeval dat u terug moet zwemmen.
- In geval dat uw vlieger opvliegt of niet goed functioneert : 1º verzamel de lijnen rond de bar; 2º haal een beetje lucht uit de stroomzijde van de kite; 3º pak met beide handen de uiterste punten van de vlieger vast; 4º ga richting stand.
- Om badgasten zo min mogelijk te hinderen dient u, eenmaal uit het water, niet met uw vlieger in de lucht over het strand te lopen.
- Om technische veiligheidsredenen worden de badgasten geadviseerd geen gebruik te maken van de speciale zones waarin kitesurfen wordt beoefend.
De camping is niet verantwoordelijk voor de kitesurf activiteiten buiten de geoorloofde gebieden.
Het recht personen de toegang te weigeren wordt voorbehouden.
